Empowered Women Empowering Women

The Women’s Empowerment Mentor Network (WEMN) was founded by Simona Rabsatt Butler with the support of four powerhouse women in Northwest Arkansas - Twilla Brooks, Alicia Levy, Cammy Jo McCain, and Holly Gilbert. The idea took shape in 2023 after a Kimberly-Clark executive challenged the group to do more with the Women’s Empowerment Deck platform they were cultivating at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship,
a LPGA Tournament.
Simona dusted off a mentoring program she had designed years earlier and evolved it into today’s Mentor Circles - a model built for growth and impact. During one of the group’s biweekly planning meetings, Holly
contributed the name that stuck: WEMN.
The nonprofit officially launched in 2024 with 8 mentees from Bentonville and Rogers public high schools. By 2025, WEMN expanded into Springdale and welcomed 10 mentees, while also celebrating major milestones: securing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, hosting the first Fore! HerFuture fundraiser,
and working to forge a partnership with Arvest Bank to bring
financial literacy education directly to mentees.
WEMN believes every young woman deserves a circle of support to walk beside her as she grows into adulthood. What began as a bold challenge in 2023 has quickly become a powerful movement - connecting high school juniors, college students, and young professionals across Northwest Arkansas with the mentorship, confidence, financial literacy, and skills they need to thrive.

WEMN cultivates confident, connected, financially aware, and purpose-driven young women through mentorship, community, and opportunity.
We envision a future where they step boldly into leadership,
chase dreams with confidence, and empower the next generation.
Our Mission
To cultivate confident, connected, financially aware, and purpose-driven young women through mentorship, community, and opportunity.
Our Vision
A future where young women across Northwest Arkansas and beyond step boldly into leadership, pursue their dreams with confidence, and
pay it forward by empowering the next generation.
Our Values

2024: Building the Foundation
The first WEMN Mentor Circle launched in 2024 and the results spoke volumes:
29 applications and essays received
3 Northwest Arkansas high schools represented
4 informative sessions hosted
8 inaugural mentees chosen | 112 volunteer hours earned
1 proud stage acknowledgment at the Women’s Empowerment Summit
This was just the beginning, and it showed us the hunger and excitement for mentorship in our community.
2025: Expanding Our Reach
In 2025, WEMN took a bold step forward, expanding into Springdale and welcoming 10 mentees. Along the way, we:
Received 28 applications and essays
Represented 4 Northwest Arkansas high schools
Hosted 22 candidates for an in-person Meet+Greet and 5 virtual conference calls
Delivered 5 engaging informational sessions
Projecting 166 volunteer hours in support of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship
These numbers aren’t just stats, they’re stories of young women finding their voices,
mentors showing up with passion, and a community rallying to support the leaders of tomorrow.
With four dedicated Circles - HerHonor Circle, HerEmpower Circle, HerRise Collective, and EmpowHER Crew - WEMN is growing stronger every year.
Our expansion into 2:1 mentoring and a Crew to support those 23-27-years-of-age ensures every mentee has even more support on her journey
into young adulthood. Together, we are shaping the next generation of confident, connected, purpose-driven women. And this is only the beginning.
Different stages. One network. Lifelong empowerment.
