 What began as a simple idea inspired by the Women's Empowerment Deck at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship has grown into a thriving community empowering young women through mentorship, leadership, financial literacy, and lifelong connection.

In just a few short years, WEMN has expanded its reach, strengthened its programs, and built meaningful partnerships that continue to open doors for the next generation of women leaders.

We're proud of how far we've come - and even more excited about where we're headed.

RECRUITING MORE FUTURE LEADERS: 

From 17 applicants in our inaugural 2024 cohort to more than 30 applicants for our 2026 initial pathway - HerHonor Circle, interest in WEMN continues to grow as more young women seek mentorship, connection, and leadership opportunities. Today, WEMN proudly serves 35 mentees across NW Arkansas - with applications already anticipated for our 2027 cohort.

EXPANDING OUR PATHWAYS:

What started with one mentoring circle in 2024 has become a leadership journey designed to support women through every stage of transition.

• EmpowHER Crew - Early Career Women (23+ - 2026))

Coming Fall 2026: HerRise Collective, connecting college women through a personalized 2:1 mentor model focused on leadership, financial wellness, branding, and life transitions.

 GROWING THROUGH MENTORSHIP:

More than 20 dedicated mentors now volunteer their time, expertise, and lived experiences to help WEMN mentees grow with confidence and purpose. As WEMN continues to expand, we're always looking for women who want to invest in the next generation by becoming mentors, speakers, and community champions.

INVESTING IN HerFuture:

Through six annual fundraising initiatives - including The Empowerment Fund, NWA Gives, LeadHERship in Action, HerPlay Socials, FORE! HerFuture Scholarship Fundraiser & Auction, and Giving Tuesday - our community has helped raise more than $10,000 to support scholarships, programming, and the continued growth of WEMN. Equally we've been able to build partnerships with the business community creating a fruitful engagement in support of preparing the next generation. Every investment helps create life-changing opportunities for young women across Northwest Arkansas.

Every mentee, mentor, volunteer, donor, and partner has helped shape WEMN's story.

Together, we're not simply building a mentoring program - we're building a movement that empowers young women to lead with confidence, purpose, and possibility.
