The Women's Empowerment Mentor Network (WEMN) is thrilled to announce our first grant award—$3,000 from Gather to Scatter to support scholarships for our 2026 mentees as they pursue higher education!
Following our grant application and an opportunity to share WEMN's mission and growing impact, Gather to Scatter selected us as one of its 2026 grant recipients. We're incredibly grateful for their belief in our young women and the futures we're helping them build.
WEMN President Simona Rabsatt Butler and Vice President Twilla Brooks proudly accepted the award alongside Gather to Scatter members Kara Isham and Johna Waddell.
And the celebration continues! We're excited for the opportunity to connect with additional donors and community supporters at Gather to Scatter's SOLD-OUT Time to Wine Down event on October 21, 2026, at River Grille.
A Little About Our New Community Partner
Gather to Scatter brings together volunteers, businesses, and generous community supporters to raise funds and provide resources for Northwest Arkansas nonprofits. Their mission is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: gathering resources to help local organizations create meaningful community impact.
Their thoughtful grant application and selection process gave us the opportunity to share our story, our mission, and the difference mentorship and scholarships can make.
